One thing I wish we did more effectively at CJ’s was engage with and talk with the youth. We have some great relationships with some of the kids, but with the majority, we can’t seem to get past “hi” or “how’s school?”. Two kids came in to CJ’s today and looked bored out of their skulls! One sat there playing with the CD Rom drive for 15 minutes. This young man is VERY funny, and is never at a loss for words. Unfortunately, I have not been able to ever have a quality conversation with him, even in almost two years of knowing him. Please pray into this area for us.

I found a groovy interesting wierd app for all you “oldies” who are attempting to be SMSers - You can now use your key pad to type morse code. The code is then translated back into text on your screen where it is then sent via SMS. (for example, if you click the “left arrow”, you get a dot, if you click the “right arrow” you get a dash.) Cool!
