We are back from Denmark! It was amazing. plain and simple. We got two round trip tickets to Malmo airport for 80 pounds, rented a car for 3 days for 60 pounds and crossed this MASSIVE 30km bridge attaching sweden to denmark. We left at dark thirty for the airport, and arrived in sweden before 10am. Yes, it was early! We had great weather greeting us on arrival and the nissan micra was GREAT. Not a sports car, but definitely a FUN city car. We then made our way to the wedding, and as you can see (not yet… sorry… will upload video soon), it was a wonderful ceremony. (if you want to see the movie, you will need (quicktime).

We survived until about 6pm when we HAD to take a nap, so we snuck out to the car (in the middle of the party) and had a 30mns power nap. Power naps ROCK. It saved my life that night. :) We crashed at our aunt and uncle´s house, enjoying the QUIET and PEACE of Denmark. Now more than ever, i appreciate the gift of living in a safe quiet environment. You probably have to do a big city for a few years to understand what im saying…
On sunday, we relaxed, slept, slept, and relaxed, oh yes, and went sight seeing. We went to the castle where Hamlet was set. It was a great drive up to the coast. A lady there gave us an hour long tour of the whole place, and the history is amazing. The king, cunstructed the 80mx80m castle with a 63 meter long ball room. Just imagine that. Actually… here is a photo: the little person in blue is Harriet. She is HALF WAY DOWN the room. amazing. I definitely am including one of those in the architectural plans for my house.

Danish food. interesting.

Monday, it was time for us to leave. Harriet and i enjoyed a great jog together around the Fredensborj castle. We ran about 6 km, through the forest and enjoyed the awesome calm. Then we went into Copenhagen for a few hours, meeting up with Christian and visiting this awesome round tower. We timed our trip perfectly. God took great care of us, giving us safe passage and giving us wisdom in the timing of everything. We dropped off the car right on time, and got home by 12:30. It was an awesome trip.
