My new mentor. (i wish)

Back home from the Leadership Summit. It was unreal. I’m sad its over.
I’m framing this picture.

Bill Hybels and I at the end of the Leadership Summit

IN THE STATES AGAIN!

Boys and girls, yes, Stuart is in the USA. This is the longest I will have been away from my beautiful wife since we were married. I can’t wait to see her.

In the meanwhile, I am in Chicago, IL, at the Willowcreek Leadership Summit, 2005 - On site with 7′000 others and together via satellite with over 45′000 others around the country! I feel honored to be here. Oh yes - and I met Bill Hybels today. What a God fearing, humble and wise man.

Please check the links to the right for daily updates on the conference.

All my love -

Stuart

Here i am… once again

Hello, i think it has been long enough since my last posting, probably about 6 months. It is not that i can’t be bothered to ‘blog’, but rather there are deep and meaningful psychological reasons why i cannot physically write more than once every six months… I am, actually, giving the readers of this blog an insight into who I am and, more importantly, what my childhood diaries looked like.
I happen to have had more than one diary throughout my childhood and teenage years, not because i actually used them (as Bridget Jones probably did) but because i used to (some might argue that i still do) get bored with what i owned rather quickly, and therefore ended up getting a new diary before I was even 10 pages into the previous one…It’s so weird how you start despising your current possession when you have spotted a potential replacement! I don’t think it is actually the desire for the potential replacement that leads one to buying it, it’s more the fact that you now couldn’t bear being alone with that current possession, such is your contempt for it. Or maybe i’m just mad!
Anyway, i have talked enough rubbish. I am ill, again; it had been a long time since the last bout.

We had a great trip with the girls who dance at CJ’s last week: we took them to perform at this major Christian Conference called Home Focus. They did so well, and Stuart and I were really very proud of them :) Maybe Stuart has some cool photos that he’ll put up some time!

We got back and saturday went to the now infamous Epping forest, with the storm, and i was still so exhausted from the trip with the girls that i dropped off in the car as i read this super cool book that i am immersed in called ‘Eats, Shoots and Leaves’ , it is absolutely hillarious and i have finally found a fellow pedant! i don’t actually know if you can say that in english… but she refers to herself as a pedant, so i assume that is the correct word (my foreigny background always betrays me so). She is now my only source of reference on all matters related to the English language.

Apologies for my rambling. Check out my next update in 6 months time!
