My girl…

My beautiful girl has finished 21 weeks of pregnancy. The pregnancy, in her words, “has been great” so far. I am amazed at how well she has managed, with a full time job, the coaching she does regularly with girls from church, the stress of a recent move, as well as the Christmas season… not to mention a husband!

Personally, I am amazed at how quickly the first half of our pregnancy has gone by. She still looks so tiny… i almost cannot believe that my son, who is currently 23cm long, is living inside of her. wow.

Here are a few great pictures of H. (and a quick one of me)

Changing of the guard

Tonight Harriet and I hosted a party for our two teams, the Decoration Team, which Harriet leads, and the Clean Team, which I lead. In all, we were 17, which is not bad, although I was pushing for 100% attendance… at least on my side of things!

What a special team. We started the team a year and a bit ago, and tonight, I passed over leadership to a great young man, Edoardo Casioli. It was a special evening — We at like kings, played some great games, (the candle blowing was classic, and the improv was so much fun) then we split into teams. I reminded my team of where we came from, and how far we had come in the past 12 months. We recast the vision and centered people on our main purposes. We thanked and lifted up each person who had given to help create such an inspiring and impacting team. We celebrated the exciting things that are planned for 2008. Finally, new leaders were anointed and released for leadership; Edoardo as point leader of the Clean Team and Natacha Rosset as the leader of Clean Team One.  I am so proud of all of these guys.

Back to square one for me! Life with God is so exciting!!!

And now, some snaps…

Fireside

Harriet and I are enjoying a great evening in front of the fire. Harriet is talking with her parents on Skype so I took advantage of that to cook the salmon and grab a few snaps! We love this place!!!

We have moved!

Before I knew it, I was up and in my morning meeting with the boss, then out the door to fetch the croissants i had ordered for the team, then off to unpack the van, then back to say hi and brief the team before the madness started. Nine great friends helped us move the some forty odd boxes, and lots of random furniture to the house, helped clean the place (wow) and even stayed for lunch. Its so cool how God takes care of us.

Here are pics before and after! (along with one of the house) (apologies for the 80mm angle!)
