So this is the first time in a loooong time since I have written anything on our blog, despite Stuart’s numerous attempts at getting me interested. The only reason why I am writing is that I have now officially run out of excuses, the main one being that i don’t have any time… well, I have time now.
Since Monday’s trip to the doctor I am pretty much bed-ridden, as she says I can no longer go to work, take baths, or do any housework… needless to say I was in shock and am still trying to figure out what I am going to do for the next 5 weeks, or less, depending on baby’s arrival.
My first job is to put our accounts in order and I have realised that this is going to be a full-time job in itself! But getting the baby’s room together and tidy and making sure we have all we need is next on my to do list, and is proving to be much more fun, unsurprisingly enough ![]()
I’m excited that I am getting to do all the things I have never done, go into town during working hours on a week day (I am amazed at the amount of people in town at 3 pm … don’t all these people WORK? Where DO they come from?), sit and read a book under our blossoming Magnolia tree, have coffee in the sun in the morning …
Yes, I am making the most of it while I can!
Baby is certainly making his presence known, not only in terms of belly size, but also in terms of strength - his moving around can be agony sometimes, but I prefer feeling him move than not!
Stuart is being the perfect husband and I am so grateful to him!! Yesterday we had to go food shopping and it was hillarious watching him balance 12 ltrs of milk in one arm and 6 or 7 bags full all hanging from the other arm, while I carried… the eggs. I felt terrible! I am now learning more and more about God’s plan and purpose for men
Anyway, I hope to put up some more recent photos of belly and mom and dad shortly, as soon as I figure out how to do that!
