H and I just got connected to RIM’s BlackBerry network. Before now, we have used our BBs as normal telephones, with data access. Thanks to Gmail for mobiles I’ve been able to kinda keep up with emails when out at clients’ offices. This technology upgrade is super cool, for me at any rate, as I can get all my emails pretty much instantly now, use Google Talk to keep in touch with gmail contacts and sync my calendar with Google Sync for mobiles (this page if you aren’t browsing on a BB) (which is then synced with Outlook btw for total sync of my day to day)
I have quite a few apps i use frequently on my BB:
Olive Tree Bible Reader
Mini Money (data tracker)
Field Force (an amazing free BB connector to my Sugar CRM system)
Chronograph (stopwatch and count down timer)
Wireless18 (for my golf outings)
Twitterberry (for my tweets)
and a few apps im hoping to get working soon:
Viigo (for all my RSS feeds)
J2ME VNC (for accessing computers on remote networks)
I have an 8700 so no Flickr uploading for me, yet, nor do i wish to be connected to Facebook, MSN or Yahoo. Any other apps you would recommend?
