Well, it appears it is my ‘turn’ to write
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Mum and Dad’s in Orbetello, Tuscany. We spent a lot of time eating and having siestas… just perfect! Jude adapted very well, and enjoyed having twice the attention he usually gets, and was certainly the happiest I have seen so far. In fact I can say for sure that he hardly ever cried. Unfortunately 5 days before we came back he started to display signs of teething.
I have been dreading teething. I have been dreading it since before he was born, since before he was conceived, since before I got married… I don’t know why! I guess when I think of babies teething all I can think about is crying… But Jude doesn’t seem to be in pain. He is just drooling so much he looks like he’s had a bath with his clothes on, and he doesn’t want to eat as much … that and biting my nipple as often as he can, have lead me to conclude that more painful nursing is in sight…
Anyhow, the weather was beautiful, my parents were wonderful with Jude, and we all had a lovely first family holiday together. The next one involves a 10 hour flight… we shall cross that bridge when we get there.
Some pictures of us in beautiful Italy.

Stuart and Jude at Talamone, gorgeous city north of Orbetello

Stuart and Jude in Pisa, if you look closely you can see the drool…

I tried to give Jude a break from the heat in Pisa … doesn’t he look just like a cherub from the Sistine Chapel??!

While browing the saldi in Pisa, Jude found his foot for the first time! Managed to get a shot
