A REAL SUMMER!!!

It has been so hot that we have just enjoyed every single day this summer, and we really hope that this weather lasts! Although a slight decrease in temperature would also be welcome… :)

I am enjoying being back at work, and have realised how much more restful it is for me to be at the office, than at home with Jude, although we have had a great time together!

Anyway, shall  put up some photos while I can, before Jude and go out for a sunday  afternoon ice-cream (for mummy, of course).

Jude’s usual attire at Nonno and Nonna’s

So cute!

Every day in Italy was a pool day…

So much fun!

I know, we just don’t get tired of how cute he is… sorry!

Mum and I on her 60th birthday!

Katia and Fabrizio are Nonno and Nonna’s neighbours and local plant experts with a big nursery, very nice guys :)

The massive Spigola we had for dinner

Elisa and I when we had a night off, we went to the Sagra della Panzanella…

Dad and I had our day off exploring Porto Ercole on the Monte Argentario

Porto Ercole

Up on the ramparts of the ancient fortress of Porto Ercole, it looks like a cosy spot for some rich owners!

nothing much to say…

Stuart as we climb up the winding staircase of old Porto Ercole

Lovely piazza in front of the old church

A naked boy!

Nonno bought a bike helmet for the baby, and he went on his first bike ride in Tuscany! Not very excited about the helmet I have to say, but he had to wear it!

On a ride in the pine forest

Jude discovered chocolate through the chocolate fondue fountain we had for a party upon our return from Italy…!

With the tropical temperatures we’ve been having we have spent a lot of afternoons at Oma and Opa Kay’s enjoying the coolness of the pool, thanks guys!
