The quiet one

Harriet and I use Google’s Picasa to manage our photos. Recently, with the addition of the semi-spooky facial recognition feature, we are getting an idea of how many photos of each of us are in our swiftly growing database of pics. Jude, so far, is in the lead with well over twice as many photos as there are of either of us. Joshua on the other hand, has been a little less photogenic, or at least we are exponentially busy with the second baby and consequently, pics of #2 are fewer and farther between. We must up our photo taking of the Joshster! Although he looks like the quiet one sitting inconspicuously in the background of our family photo, in reality he is shining light and a wonderful part of our team!

One frustrating thing about this season is that Joshua is fairly bound to Harriet’s breast. (not a bad thing — he definitely gets well fed!) Consequently, (and this is a great thing) I get to spend lots of time w Jude – and our relationship has flourished. The not so cool consequence of this, though, is that I do not see Joshua very often! Within the past two weeks though, Joshua has become a much happier and smily-er baby. He is communicating a ton more and responds v quickly to my voice. (which apparently he did already in the womb!) Harriet is also happy to see him settling into his routine and sometimes, going for a whole twelve hours with only one feed… now for a just a bit more consistency!

Very soon, we will post some recent pics of Joshua with our massive fan base. come back soon and enjoy!
